Ronald R. Tyler, J.D. is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law having earned his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1971. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan Courts, including Federal Courts and the Supreme Court. He has served as past President of the 23rd Judicial Circuit Court Bar Association. His prior education includes undergraduate work at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan where he majored in social studies and the sciences.
Mr. Tyler was appointed Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Iosco in 1972 where he served in such capacity through 1976. From that period forward, he has been engaged in private practice representing numerous clients in the northeast Michigan area in a wide range of legal matters including trial litigation. He is experienced and has been successful in numerous jury trials, both civil and criminal. He is presently associated with the law firm of Tyler and Tyler, P.C. where he practices with his sons, Stephen W. Tyler, J.D. and Nathan R. Tyler, J.D.
Stephen W. Tyler, J.D. earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan in 1994. Post graduate work includes international comparative criminal law studies conducted in London, England. He acquired his undergraduate Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1989 where he majored in Business Administration.
Mr. Tyler has served in the past as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and defense attorney advocate where he participated in many successful jury trials. He is a member and past President of the 23rd Judicial Circuit Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Michigan Courts. He currently is a practicing member of Tyler and Tyler, P.C., a Michigan Professional Corporation where he practices both civil and criminal law.
Nathan R. Tyler, J.D. is a graduate of Michigan State University Law School (formerly Detroit College of Law) where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor Cum Laude in 1999. He acquired his undergraduate Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1995 where he majored in Political Science Pre Law. He is a present member of the 23rd Judicial Circuit Bar Association. He has served as criminal law and juvenile law advocate and is admitted to practice in the Michigan Courts. He presently practices civil, criminal and juvenile law with the law firm of Tyler and Tyler, P.C., a Michigan Professional Corporation.
